Tra le iniziative in programma, già annunciate, citiamo quelle del Servizio Biblioteca del Grande Oriente d’Italia:
Giovedì 19 settembre ore 17.00, a Villa Il Vascello (Via di San Pancrazio, 8, Roma), dibattito sul volume “La mezzaluna e il compasso. Islam e massoneria dall’attrazione all’avversione” (Edizioni Mediterranee),con l’autore Thierry Zarcone e il prof. Mino Gabriele.
Il volume ricostruisce storicamente la presenza massonica in una grande fascia geografica che va dal Marocco all’Indonesia e offre anche scoperte importanti sulla elaborazione di una Massoneria islamica e sull’introduzione del Corano nelle logge.
Giovedì 19 Settembre ore 18.00 a Villa Il Vascello, presentazione del volume “Il Rumore del Mondo” di Benedetta Cibrario, finalista al Premio Strega 2019. Introduce il Gran Bibliotecario del G.O.I., Dino Fioravanti. Interviene il Maestro Marcello Panni.
Il volume racconta la saga di una donna inglese che viene a vivere in Italia e accetta di occuparsi dell’azienda del suocero, un setificio. La storia si divide tra due Paesi, l’Inghilterra della rivoluzione industriale e l’Italia del Risorgimento.
Sabato 21 settembre, pomeriggio, a Villa Il Vascello, performancecomposta da un collagedi brani letterari e canzoni dell’attore Peppe Servillo.
L’artista darà vita ad una performance tra musica e poesia all’interno della quale farà un omaggio a Totò con la lettura di una delle sue più celebri poesie, “’A Livella”.
Le celebrazioni saranno concluse sabato 21 settembre dall’allocuzione del Gran Maestro del G.O.I. Stefano Bisi.
