Il presidente della Commissione nazionale Antimafia, senatore Nicola Morra, ha voluto chiarire alcune sue recenti dichiarazioni relative al Grande Oriente d’Italia di Palazzo Giustiniani.
In un comunicato precisa infatti che “Il presidente Nicola Morra non ha inteso affermare che la Commissione Antimafia da lui presieduta ha accertato rapporti tra ‘Ndrangheta e Grande Oriente d’Italia (GOI), avendo egli voluto, piuttosto, riferirsi alle dichiarazioni rese da Giuliano Di Bernardo nel processo c.d. ‘ndrangheta stragista’, che afferivano fatti asseritamente risalenti al 1992, anno in cui egli era Gran Maestro, e non a periodi successivi e attuali.”
Di fronte a tali puntualizzazioni il Gran Maestro del Grande Oriente d’Italia, Stefano Bisi, ha espresso soddisfazione per la importante precisazione ispirata “dalla non comune onestà intellettuale del Presidente della Commissione Antimafia”.
Il Gran Maestro del GOI riguardo alla vicenda aggiunge che “in merito alle dichiarazioni de relato riferite dal Di Bernardo – a detta del quale il compianto Ettore Loizzo avrebbe affermato nel lontano 1993 che in Calabria 28 logge su 32 erano controllate dalla ‘ndrangheta ed alle quali aveva inteso riferirsi il Presidente Nicola Morra – si precisa che le contestazioni da me espresse mediaticamente avverso la capziosità e strumentalità temporale di dette dichiarazioni accusatorie del Di Bernardo sono state oggetto di querela da parte di quest’ultimo e che, all’esito delle indagini preliminari del relativo procedimento penale che mi ha visto indagato per diffamazione pluriaggravata, il pubblico ministero dottor Francesco Dall’Olio ha emesso la richiesta di archiviazione viste “le argomentazioni fornite dall’indagato in sede di interrogatorio a seguito di avviso ex art. 415 bis c.p.p. e della produzione di articolata memoria difensiva” dalla quale è possibile desumere la insussistenza degli elementi costitutivi del reato di cui alla rubrica apparendo rispettati i canoni della verità, rilevanza e continenza delle dichiarazioni dell’indagato”.
La storia insegna che i pregiudizi sono alimentati da ignoranza e maldicenza, ma per “il Grande Oriente d’Italia – conclude il Gran Maestro Bisi – questi ultimi importanti eventi dei quali ho appena riferito hanno avviato quel percorso che, restituendo alla Storia la verità dei fatti, cancellerà definitivamente ogni pregiudizio in danno del Grande Oriente d’Italia.
